Privacy Policy for MeshGradientTool (macOS)

MeshGradientTool (“the App”) is developed by Michael Bedar (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the App collects, how we use it, and your choices.

Data We Collect

• Crash & Diagnostics (App Analytics): If enabled, the App collects crash reports, stack traces, device model, OS version, and limited runtime state to help us diagnose issues. We use Sentry to process this data.
• No Personal Content: The App does not access your photos, contacts, calendars, clipboard, precise location, or microphone/camera.
• No Advertising IDs or Ad Tracking: The App does not display ads and does not share data with advertisers.
• No Account: The App does not require you to create an account.

Purpose of Processing

• App reliability and debugging (fix crashes, improve performance)
• Product improvement (understand failure modes and stability)

Data Sharing

Service Provider: Crash/diagnostic data is sent to Sentry solely to provide crash reporting and performance diagnostics. See Sentry’s privacy info: https://sentry.io/privacy/

We do not sell your data.

Data Retention

Crash/diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and product improvement, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Your Choices

Disable diagnostics: You can turn off diagnostic submission in the app’s settings (if available). You can also submit a privacy request using the in‑app feedback widget (the “Report a Bug” button in the bottom‑right corner of this site).

Data Access / Deletion Requests

Use the Sentry feedback widget (click the “Report a Bug” button in the bottom‑right corner) to submit a request. Include the app name (MeshGradientTool) and mention “Privacy Request.” Provide a contact email in the form so we can verify and fulfill your request.

Children

The App is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post updates on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
